It’s no secret that we hate hourly rates.
In our opinion they’re unfair on two different counts – firstly YOU. How can you possibly cap your earnings when you’re delivering such an amazing service? But of course you do. You’re limited to what you can earn if you charge by the hour. And, of course, you can never budget for what’s coming in because every invoice you send out is different!
Think about it from the client’s point of view? By definition every bill they get from you is a surprise. They never know what invoice is going to land on their doormat each month, and that can’t be good for client morale.
